Invites
I think this is going to be my toughest task. I am ordering my invites from cardsandpockets.com and they are basically sending me everything, just plain and unassembled. I will have to design the invitations, rsvp cards and the insert card with directions, have them printed and then assemble the invites. I'm thinking I will start printing the invites and cards before hand so I can just assemble them slowly and not have to stress about getting them done in one day. Because they are really simple, I will prob design and invite that has some visual appeal and prob close it with a ribbon or a sticker with a monogram. Still deciding on that =)
Table Numbers
I really want my table numbers to be more than just simple numbers. I think details is what really makes a wedding your own. I really like this idea of using our engagement pictures as table numbers with the white posterboard. There are so many engagment pics that no one ever really sees so having a different one at every table is a nice way to get some use out of them. I will probably used some posed ones like this mixed with candid ones =)
Escort Cards
I will make my own place cards using the same paper that i use to make my programs. Because my venue is outdoors and kind of windy, I will pin them on a cork board probably with some engagement pictures. I'm thinking I will also frame the cork board too. The paper will be exactly like the paper on the invites, with the purple patterned paper behind the cream colored paper.
